Zoran Tosic: We have to endure the first days of the training camp
— Zoran, the training camp in Campoamor is underway, a few days are behind. How is it going for you?
— I've come to this place for a camp with PFC CSKA for the fifth year in a row, everything here is familiar to me. As always, we started to work hard straight away. We have two workouts per day.
— Many players say that the first camp is the toughest and the most unpleasant due to the huge workload. Do you share this opinion?
— The first 10 days are the toughest. But we prepare in the same way every year, and got used to this. We will get through this stage in professional way. We have to endure that several days. Later we will start to play friendly games, and the whole process will be a bit more interesting.
— Leonid Slutskiy said he is satisfied that players came off vacation in good shape. How did you maintain your fitness level while on holidays?
— I worked through my own programme, played football with friends. Obviously, I had some rest. I feel good, nothing bothers me.
— The season would resume in several weeks. Have you been thinking already how to catch up Zenit?
— We are all aiming to finish this championship in the same place as in the previous two ones. We will do our bests to make this happen. It's not going to be easy, Zenit is leading. Though they had a good gap in the previous season as well. We are 7 point behind, and still have 13 matches to play. Would we show the same football, as in the last Spring, we will be champions again.
— 2015 marks five years since you joint PFC CSKA. It's fair to say that you already became one of Red-Blues' symbols. What does that mean for you?
— Hopefully, I'll be here for many more years! I'm satisfied with everything: the team, coach, city. I can't see why I have to change anything.
— Congratulations on winning the prestigious award as the best Serbian footballer of 2014. Is it a big achievement for you?
— I think every footballer dreams of becoming the best player in his native country. 2014 was the best year in my career. We won the League and the Super Cup, I played well and scored for the national team. I think these factors helped me achieve such an success.
