Aleksey Berezutskiy: I would rate the first part of the season for PFC CSKA 3+ out of 5

— It is unpleasant to get both a penalty and a sending-off by the 15th minute of the match, — Berezutskiy said. — But if we talk about the game as a whole — it is hard to play 75 minutes shorthanded. We did not create many moments, we did not even create a few. It is nice that we played in defense in an organized manner in the second half. The fact that the guys tried and ran a lot is an advantage.

— Could Bruno have played better in the episode with the sending-off? Or maybe it should not have been red card at all?
— I did not watch the moment on the video, I only saw it in the game. Everyone makes mistakes, it is football, it happens. But there is no point in sending-off by the 15th minute, it is better to concede a goal.

— Will it be necessary to have an additional conversation with Fuchs so that he does not fall into a psychological pit?
— I have already talked to Bruno. Everyone makes mistakes, and there are no exceptions. Perhaps, just one of the reasons — he had no practice for a long time. But this can be changed easily.

— Akinfeev played the 800th match in his career. Would you like him to extend his contract with the club? And how do you assess his influence on PFC CSKA?
— I think no one doubts that he will extend his contract. And about the impact — the numbers speak for themselves, they are just fantastic.

— Can you sum up the results of the first round? What are they for you? What has been achieved, and what are you most dissatisfied with during this time?
— I cannot say that I am very dissatisfied with something. Except for a few games — for example, in Sochi, where we collapsed. I did not like the result, the game, or the score that time. Except for this, most of the matches were held decently. Somewhere we lost, somewhere we won. But if we talk in general, then it is possible to rate 3+ out of 5.

— Only one team was worse in terms of expected goals than PFC CSKA today in this season. How exactly were you going to change the game after sending-off to correct the game in attack and avoid such a failure?
— It is more difficult to create moments with ten than with a full team. If we had created a lot of chances after the sending-off, it would have been a perfect game. But something did not work out.
