PFC CSKA captain and goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev set new record in the match against Volga on March 31. For the 200nd time in his career he conceded zero goals in a game.
Igor became the first Russian goalkeeper to reach this milestone and fourth goalkeeper from Russia or Soviet Union after Lev Yashin (203 clean sheets), Evgeny Rudakov (206) and Rinat Dasaev (229).
Akinfev also became the youngest domestic goalkeeper to have 200 clean sheets in the age of 27 years and 357 days.
