PFC CSKA Moscow is joining Sorare’s global fantasy football game

Sorare is a fantasy football game where fans can trade official blockchain cards, build teams, and get rewards every week. PFC CSKA Moscow is one of the first Russian football clubs to join Sorare. The game is officially licensed by 40 football clubs such as Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Lyon, etc.

How it works?

To participate in Sorare’s fantasy football game, you need to create a team of five blockchain cards to gain access to tournaments, to fight for rewards and achievements. Fantasy managers are ranked depending on their footballer’s performances on the pitch and bonus points related to the value of their blockchain cards.

Sorare players can win weekly prizes in global tournaments such as new cards and the cryptocurrency (ether). Winning is affected by the rarity of the cards included in the squad, as well as weekly footballer’s actual results.

Which player cards can I get or purchase on Sorare?

Each PFC CSKA Moscow footballer available for sale in Sorare's fantasy game will be issued with unlimited free common cards, 100 ‘rare’ cards, 10 ‘super rare’ cards and one final ‘unique’ card. A player’s line-up will be composed of five cards composed of certain mandatory posts, such as goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward.

Common cards are cards that you get when you sign-up on Sorare. You can play with them in the rookie leagues. However, if you want to move to the upper leagues and win some rewards, then you will need some rare, super rare or unique cards.

The rare, super rare and unique cards are interesting because they are rare digital collectibles of footballers thanks to blockchain technology. To get one of these, you need to purchase them through an auction on the platform (from minimum starting price to highest bid). The rarer the card is, usually, the more expensive it is.

In fantasy football, the rarer the cards, the more bonus you get, so a rare card has a bonus of six, a super rare has a bonus of 12 and a unique has a bonus of 18.
