On results of consideration of the case which proceeded since December 2005 the Court pronounced judgment to oblige LLC “Publishing house Zhizn” to issue refutation and to recover costs and mental damage for a total sum of 170 000 roubles.

The case of Daniel Carvalho’s prosecution against newspaper Zhizn was brought before the court at Basmanny regional court of Moscow on June 26th, 2006. CSKA Moscow senior legal adviser Roman Babaev defended the rights of our player, which was accused of rape in the columns of the newspaper “Zhizn” without any valid grounds.
