- How you estimate the forces of CSKA and "Porto"?
- Both our team and "Porto" are leaders of national leagues
and top teams of their countries. Of course, each team knows its strong
and weak sides, therefore in a tomorrow's match we have a task to win
and to qualify for playoff stage. "Porto" is a new team today
in comparison with games of two years' prescription. Only four players
from that team are remaining in current squad. Quaresma became mature
and consistent, Anderson plays simply brilliant, Pepe is a very good
central defender and Luis Gonsalez is indispensable in midfield. As
a whole our opponents are a strong, young and ambitious team.
- On Saturday CSKA have won the Russian championship. Did the celebrations
count on your player's morale?
- We do not have opportunity to celebrate because our next game is scheduled
for tomorrow. All holidays we shall postpone up to the end of the season.
I hope, we qualify for Playoffs and we'll celebrate then.
- What are your main weapons against Porto?
- We know this team well. Porto played practically the same line-ups
in the first match. In September our opponents only began their championship
and for this time something could have changed. Our championship has
already finished, so we can focus on tomorrow's game.
- CSKA can secure playoffs after a draw. Don't you think it's better
to play reliably than to attack?
- We will accept any result, which allows us to reach the Playoffs.
