— It was a tough game. The first half was not good enough as Ufa tried to press and played more actively. After the break they became tired and we stepped up our game. As a result we scored and after played more freely.
— What did you feel before the game?
— I didn't have to motivate myself. I just tried to play my game and be effective on the pitch.
— Is it fair to say that the goal will give you a confidence boost?
— Absolutely. During past 6 months I scored only once and it was in the national team. My goalless streak lasted for too long. This goal will give me more confidence.
— How did you feel during the game?
— We've covered a large distance today, even Roman Eremenko noted that! We were determined to show our best. Physically everyone looked ok.
