Aleksey Berezutskiy has joined PFC CSKA coaching staff

Aleksey Berezutskiy has joined the main team coaching staff, where he will join his brother Vasiliy, who entered the coaching staff in August.

Today, on 22 January, Aleksey will arrive in Campoamor for the winter training camp.

— Aleksey is now just somewhere in the European sky, flying to us. We read together with him conspiracy theories about who quarreled with whom with a smile. It is all nonsense. There were no disagreements. There were questions related to the fact that Aleksey wanted to decide on his further career plans. It is not a secret that when the brothers came to the club, they were given a certain carte blanche and the opportunity to try themselves both in the coaching staff and in the club - in the selection department, in the sports department. Vasiliy has chosen the coaching staff, Aleksey has decided to work in the office. Time passed, and he took a break to analyze the work done, to understand what is closer to what he wants to do in the future. That is all. Now he has decided. We are glad that he is with us. He has joined the coaching staff. I am sure that this will only benefit the team, and Viktor Mikhailovich is very happy with this decision.
