Aleksey Berezutskiy: I do not want to praise young players too soon
24.06.2021
PFC CSKA acting head coach about the match with Wiener Neustadt, young players and physical activity at the training camp.
— Not a hundred percent, but this is quite a logical development. When I applied for the A license, I understood that I wanted to start training later.
— And did you think about it when you were a player?
— When you are a young player, what do you think about? About nothing more than three days. And as an adult player, of course, I thought about it.
— What can you say about the match?
— We moved well. It was hot. In general, we did not expect anything more from this match. We wanted to see how the guys look. Of course, as it usually happens, we monitored physical activity. Everything else does not matter at all right now.
— Did the squad was chosen based on the distribution of activity?
— I tossed a coin, and that's how it turned out (smiles).
— What can you say about young guys, about Galoyan, who is now on trial?
— I don't want to praise the young players, because you should not do it too soon. But from what I said you, more or less, can draw conclusions.
— What will you tell our fans in general about the preparation?
— It turned out even better than we expected: it's hot here, but it's even hotter in Moscow, so we are lucky, and this is a big advantage. The work goes as planned, now we are thinking about the physical readiness of the players and nothing else.
