Hordur Magnusson: I came because I missed the whole team!
27.06.2021
Defender Hordur Magnusson joined PFC CSKA in Bad Tatsmansdorf, Austria, last night continuing his recovery from Achilles tendon surgery.
— I feel good, — Magnusson said to pfc-cska.com — Especially after I threw out my crutches — it happened a week and a half or two weeks ago. I'm already walking normally, without pain, and I'm glad that the most difficult postoperative period is over. Full recovery is still far away, but it is, nevertheless, going fast. Everything is organized very professionally: PFC CSKA doctors, the surgeon from Finland, who operated me, and my Icelandic rehabilitation specialist are in constant contact.
I am gaining my muscle mass back, now I am doing cardio trainings and I am very happy about it. It was killing me when I couldn't move normally: all that time I wanted to run, to walk, to spin a bike, to work out. I had training in the pool today in Austria, also I am already allowed to spin a bike and to do some work in the gym. I am getting back to the sports realities, I am inspired by this!
I came to Austria for two reasons — to see Army Men’s doctors and rehabilitation specialists, to get their advice, and also-I missed the whole team insanely. I met the new coach, the guys, the staff, and my mood has become even better!
