Ivica Olić: I want to win with PFC CSKA to get the club back to the place where it should be

— It is my first time at this stadium, it is very beautiful! I am glad it was built. When I played for PFC CSKA, we did not have our own arena. Now we have our own home, and I am looking forward to playing my first game here. It will be an emotional moment for me.

We have communicated with the club for many years as friends. But the conversation about me becoming a head coach only started a few days ago. We discussed my view, my opinion about the team. And today I am here. I am very happy to be back. This is my club, my home. I want to win with PFC CSKA to get the club back to the place where it should be. Not just me: the whole staff, the players want it. I will give my all. There is a lot of work ahead.

We have not talked about specific tasks yet. But I tell myself that I should immediately focus on winning every match. That is how you need to think, that is how you need to work. There is not too much time left this season to instill the system of play that I want to see. But we will work together with the club to win.
