Viktor Hancharenka: Ejuke and Chalov could have decided the outcome in our favor

— We are dissatisfied, we wanted to win. Maybe, in some way, a quick goal played tricks on us, we started playing closer to our goal, which we should not have done. In the middle and at the end of the first half, we did not get out of the pressure very well. It got better in the second half, but we had almost no chances when we came to the opponent's penalty area. Although Ejuke and Chalov could have decided the outcome in our favor. Igor also saved. But in general, we can do better.

— What exactly did you not like about the lines? And what can you say about defenders’ game?
— We did not have enough quality work with the ball, although the pitch was not of the best quality. All our technical players made mistakes. We did not create enough attacks as we wanted. The team knew how the opponent's number 10 acted, and they paid a lot of attention to him. But, unfortunately, we did not control one pass, which led to a penalty in our goal.

— How would you assess Akhmetov's condition?
— He missed a lot, but Ilzat has been participating in game exercises for a long time, although with restrictions. It is clear, that he needs game practice. We expect him to get better within each game.

— Do you expect Gaich to be the main striker in the Europa League?
— We do not have an idea of the main striker, we proceed from each specific game. Our bench allows us to keep two substitute strikers, who can come out in the second half. As for Gaich, we are glad that he scored.

— PFC CSKA game quality decreased in the second half. Do you agree?
— We cannot say that the first half was top-quality. This is not an excuse, but to have not such qualitative pitch in Austria and to be allowed to play on it in the Europa League… I think this is wrong.

— The next Europa League match is with Dinamo Zagreb. What can you say about this team?
— Now we are thinking about the championship, we will talk about Zagreb later.
