Viktor Hancharenka: I agree that the result in the Europa League was a failure for us. This is not what we expected

— We looked very inactive in the first half. The players could neither tackle, nor attack. If you play like that, then expect that there will be moments at your goal. In the second half, due to aggressive play, we were able to improve the situation, but this was not enough to save the match. But at least we showed character, showed movement and dedication.

— Don't you think that Dinamo could have won even more?
— Just as the score could have been better for us. We did not use a lot of chances in our home match, luck was not on our side, just like today not on Dinamo. But the result of the match is fair.

— The game did not work out at all. Why did it happen — the squad was not perfect or just Dinamo was better?
— It is a set of reasons. The version of the line-up that we had is quite young. We took a risk when we left five players at home. But Dinamo can endure their championship game and play with a fresher squad, and we cannot afford that. We play very often, and this is our first experience of playing so many matches in a row.

— Bistrovic scored a goal today. Is it possible that after it he will play more often in the first team?
— He played well. We have high competition in the midfield. There are only two games left in the Russian Championship, and maybe our choice will fall on Kristijan.

— What do you think about Vlasic's progress? Can he play better?
— Nikola has made good steps forward during the seasons he has been in the squad. He has a very high potential. We hope that he will play in top Championships and prove himself. I do not think we will hold Nikola and restrain him in development.

— This Europa League turned out to be a failure as a result. Can you sum it up and analyze the reasons for it?
— I agree that the result in the Europa League was a failure for us. This is not what we expected. But there are many reasons — youth, a lot of games, and illnesses. Maybe we did not have enough strength in such a busy schedule.
