Viktor Hancharenka: I liked how PFC CSKA played after sending off
28.09.2020
Press conference of PFC CSKA head coach Viktor Hancharenka after the match against Lokomotiv.
— Why did Ejuke come out as centre forward again?
— We have a diverse bench. We looked very good in this combination, so we decided to continue playing like that. We were pretty good at it. The team gave too much space to the opponent's centre-backs. This was the main Ejuke's drawback as a striker.
— Why did not Vasin come out in the end?
— Vitya changed clothes for a very long time and also forgot his shin pads in the locker room. We decided to leave Magnusson on the pitch, even though he was complaining of his shoulder. But then Hordur showed that he was ready to finish the game.
— Chalov did not score again. Is this a psychological issue?
— A striker has to score goals, especially in such a difficult situation. We did not have to wait for Lokomotiv to let us create a lot of chances and we needed to use each of them. Unfortunately, Fedya did not succeed. But there are no complaints about his dedication.
— Bistrovic received two yellow cards. Did he let the team down?
— It is very difficult to commit two fouls in the attack. I do not defend him, but there may not have been a second foul at all.
