Viktor Hancharenka: The team was balanced
01.11.2020
PFC CSKA head coach press conference after the match in Volgograd.
— You have not played with a clear outsider for a long time. Is there any difference in preparing for such matches?
— I do not agree that Rotor is a clear outsider. All the teams that made it from FNL developed by a similar scenario. At first they get used to the Russian Premier League, then they become a strong team that is not easy to beat. You may recall how difficult it was for Spartak to get points here. It is clear that because of the coronavirus, Krasnodar and Rostov got three points each. But in general, I cannot call Rotor an outsider. Perhaps the loss of confidence has led the team to be at the bottom of the table.
— Arnor Sigurdsson has goal + pass in two games. Will he play more often at the starting XI and how do you assess his current game?
— He looked good both as a striker and as a midfielder. He had an injury, now he looks quite fresh and attacks easily, he has good movement.
— It seems that Vlasic is "saturated" by the end of the matches. Does he have the strength to play on such schedule?
— Vlasic always determines his own movement. He will not run more than he needs, he positions himself in the attack and acts in defense correctly. I do not see any problems with him. Also, he is strong physically enough. Neither he nor the team has any problems.
— PFC CSKA is at the top of the table after this victory. What do you need to do to stay at the top?
— We need to win. We need to win every match, then we will be at the top.
