Vladislav Torop: Such matches show that there should be no underestimation of the opponent
23.09.2021
PFC CSKA goalkeeper about his debut in the main team in the match with Zenit Izhevsk and a mistake.
— Such matches show that there should never be underestimation. The task for the game was to come out as concentrated as possible and not let the opponent breathe. I think that we have succeeded. We scored two goals, then we played on skill. There were also mistakes, but not so significant.
— How would you assess your game and the episode where you went too far out of the goal?
— Dmitry Kramarenko demands from us that we clean up long passes. It is important, and I usually do it well, but this time I underestimated the moment. The field was dry, not wet, due to this, the ball went slower. This is a mistake, but at the same time it is also an experience, I will be more careful next time.
— Probably, it was not a surprise for you that you will come out for the Cup match. Were you nervous before the match?
— I have maximum preparation for every match because you cannot underestimate anyone. I was a little nervous, but it is better than not to worry. This shows that you are not indifferent and allows you to concentrate better and work out some moments in your head.
